The Yellowhammer

I walked through a countryside. I had field glasses with me. I came to a farmstead. The buildings framed an inner courtyard on its sides. In the courtyard I saw a Yellowhammer, a songbird not unexpected in this rural area. On second looks the Yellowhammer was a woman wearing a golden dress. She was beautiful, blond, and golden. Another woman appeared in the courtyard. Her dress was teal. She too was beautiful, all teal, black, and pale. The two women chirped and laughed together. I stood at some distance and wasn't sure if they were mocking me, or if they had noticed me at all.
